About Me

My photo
I was recently set free by an amazing woman who gave me 3 beautiful children. At the ripe age of 37 years old I am currently learning about dating, in the 2011's. So much has changed and my old ways seems rusty at best, and to be honest, they were never all that good :-)But here I am, making my way.

Holiday Projects - Recycle your Mini-keg

So for all you single guys out there looking for a new use for your mini-keg at Holiday time! Have I got a project for you!!

An X-Mas Tree Watering Machine

STEP 1: Drink your mini empty!
STEP 2: Unscrew the tap from the reservoir and rinse
STEP 3: Remove all tubing from the inside, including from the tap itself.
STEP 4: Drill a small hole in the side and glue a piece of the hard plastic tubing in to that hole. (Match the drill bit to size the hard plastic tubing.) This allows for a smooth exit of air while dispensing the water.
STEP 5: I brought the tap to Home Depot and found tubing that was the proper size to fit snugly into the tap.
STEP 6: Once home I fed the tubing through the tap and left about 4 feet out of the end so I could stand while the tubing was in the tree base.
STEP 7: I sealed the tubing that was inside of the tap with waterproof RTV.
STEP 8: Decorate, is Coors Light isn't your idea of a holiday, Fill with water and enjoy.

The best part, drink several mini-kegs and make this a gift for your family. I mean nothing says love like sacrificing your liver for your friends and family!!

Happy Holidays!!
